Exploring data as Material in Design Processes

The Physical Interaction Project combines the stimulation of the facial trigeminus nerve with music to generate ideas. The End of the Pen is stringed with various materials and a flexible sensor. The contact at the end of the pen on the one hand stimulates the trigeminal nerve in the face and on the other hand converts the contact signals in the audio spectrum.

With every thought, the user basically creates a new and individual musical composition. If the user, however, interrupts his trial without having completed the operation, the pen reminds him after a certain time to complete the process, using vibrations.
